We're looking for a Tech Lead with deep expertise in Laravel and React to help lead the technical direction of a modern, scalable product platform.
We're especially interested in leaders who actively leverage AI-assisted development tools and can help drive engineering efficiency, modern workflows, and technical innovation across the team.

What you'll be doing
Lead the technical design and architecture of fullstack applications
Build and maintain scalable backend services using Laravel and PHP 8.3
Lead frontend architecture and best practices using React 18 and TypeScript
Establish and enforce testing culture across the team (PHPUnit, Vitest, Playwright)
Define and maintain quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
Drive technical decision-making, scalability, and system reliability
Mentor and support developers through code reviews and technical guidance
Ensure mandatory code review on every PR before merge
Coordinate sprint planning and protect scope from mid-sprint changes
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Improve development workflows, CI/CD processes, and engineering standards
Ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability
Help prioritize technical debt and platform evolution
Participate actively in hands-on development alongside the team
Promote and implement AI-assisted engineering practices across the development lifecycle

What we're looking for
Strong experience leading fullstack development teams
Deep expertise in Laravel, PHP, and modern backend architecture
Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript
Experience designing scalable and maintainable systems
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
Experience establishing testing practices and quality gates in teams with low or zero test coverage
Experience breaking rework cycles and improving delivery quality metrics
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices
Experience working with real-time systems and event-driven architecture
Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar solutions to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate delivery
Strong mindset toward automation, continuous improvement, and modern AI-assisted development practices
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to balance hands-on execution with technical leadership

Experience with Docker-based environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Experience with AWS serverless solutions
Experience with Stripe integrations and payment systems
Experience with Filament admin panels
Experience with Spatie Laravel Data (DTOs)
Knowledge of image/video processing tools such as FFmpeg or Intervention Image
Experience scaling engineering teams or products
Previous experience in product-driven or startup environments
